Information You Submit
Text entered in a search form, such as a name, telephone number, or address, goes to the outside provider that supplies the results. Our own servers do not retain a separate search-history copy. When you contact us, we receive the details you choose to send and use them to answer the message.
Information Collected Automatically
Standard hosting logs can record an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. We examine aggregate activity to maintain the site and learn which resources visitors use. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where applicable.
How We Use Information
The limited data described above helps us run the site, diagnose faults, assess traffic, and improve content. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual user profiles.
Links to Other Websites
Links lead to government portals, Los Angeles County and California offices, library collections, and outside search services. Information submitted after leaving this site falls under the destination's policy. The same is true for sponsored results, which an outside company provides.
Parties That May Process Data
Hosting and support providers process server logs for us. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic data already described. We may disclose information when valid legal process requires it, but otherwise do not distribute visitor data.
How We Protect Your Data
An encrypted connection serves the site, and logs are retained only as long as needed for the purposes stated here. Because visitors do not create accounts, this site stores no user password or account profile.
Users Under 18
This site is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
California Privacy Rights
The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives qualifying California residents rights that can include access, correction, deletion, and opting out of certain data practices. Because we hold little information, a request generally involves our contact mailbox and available server logs. Use the Contact page to submit one. Government records held by Lakewood, Los Angeles County, or California agencies remain outside our control, so a correction or removal request for such a record must go to its custodian.
Policy Changes
Any revised policy will appear here. Continued use after publication of a revision indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
